Chaiyo Church is a church located in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This church is not just a place of worship, but also a family united by a faith and love in Christ.
We are a community that believes that every person is valuable and loved by God. Because He loves us, He wants us to strive to be more like Christ each day.
We are committed to creating an environment that encourages people to connect with God and each other. Our church is a place where you can find true friendship, spiritual growth, and a sense of belonging.
We believe that the most powerful witness to the world is a community of believers who live out their faith with love and service.

What We Believe

At Chaiyo Church, we believe Christians are called to share the love and truth of Christ in this world. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and that through the repentance of sins and true acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of one’s life, one obtains salvation. This is the definition of Grace.

Jesus Christ Offers Forgiveness of Sins

Jesus Christ is Lord, Savior, and the Son of God. Having lived a sinless life and served as a the ultimate example of God’s divine love on earth, He was sacrificed for our sins according to the Jewish tradition and subsequently resurrected. He offers forgiveness of sins and redemption to those who sincerely repent. Through accepting Christ as Lord and daily living out His teachings as taught in the Bible, we are redeemed and restored to a right relationship with God.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.

God is Love

God doesn’t just display love. He is Love. His Love is unlike the “love” of the world which is often as stable as a leaf in the wind. God’s love is steadfast, divine, and based in the truth.

As the Bible teaches, in order to love God with all your heart and soul, you MUST love others. That is what we are called to do as Christians and one of the foundations of our faith.

“For God sent His only begotten Son that whoever should believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”

Be Perfected in Christ

Through daily asking for His Holy Spirit to lead us, we are continually being molded into more and more of His image. Being perfected in Christ is the life long journey of a Christian, one that draws one closer to God.

“ดังนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายจึงต้องสมบูรณ์แบบ เหมือนอย่างที่พระบิดาของท่านในสวรรค์ทรงสมบูรณ์แบบ”
– Mathew 5:48

The Bible says “to love God with all your heart and soul. And like it, to love your neighbor as yourself.” That being the case, being a Christian has minimal value if we do not love others the way Christ loved us. We are called to serve God in thought, word, and deed. As children of God, we strive to please God in every moment….not just on Sunday.

When it comes to worship, the bible says that " God inhabits the praises of His people ” – Psalm 22:3.

At Chaiyo Church, worship means praising our Heavenly Father in a spirit of thanksgiving, gratitude, and reverence for Him. The more we worship Him, the closer we draw to Him. Therefore, our worship is meant to draw us closer to His presence.

What to Expect

Our church’s dress code is casual but you are more than welcome to still come in your Sunday’s finest. Come as you are. We only ask that you come with a desire to be draw closer to God. We’ll have donuts and coffee ready for you too 🙂

Service is officially from 10:30 – 12:00. The first Sunday of every month, we have a church potluck after service. We also have Bible study every Sunday from 9:30 -10:30. The order of our service is below:

Chaiyo Church is a non-denominational church founded in 2015 by a group of missionaries from the United States.
